The Spiritual Cost of Life Coaching

At Great Light Coaching, we do not ask you to make a hasty decision to transition your life from where it is right now to where you believe God wants it to be. Again, notice how the rich young man in Matthew 19 responded after Jesus challenged the motive of his heart. He performed an abrupt comparison of what it would be like to leave his riches to follow Jesus. He quickly concluded that the cost was too great.

In Luke 14, Jesus describes how we should respond to the challenge of complete and total surrender to Him. Jesus says that we should sit down, estimate, and consider the cost (Luke 14:28-29). Sit down and see if you can afford to follow Him fully, or better still, sit down and see if you can afford not to follow him.

In the Old Testament, kings did not count the cost alone. They deliberated with counselors and advisors when making major decisions. Where there is no counsel, the people fall. But in the multitude of counselors there is safety (Prov 11:14).

The purposes of a man’s heart are deep waters, but a man of understanding draws them out. (Prov 20:5).

In this intake session, we determine where you are, and where you believe God is directing you.  We will discover if there are any barriers to your complete surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ.  Finally, we will discuss the people you are submitted to.  A properly submitted life disarms rebellion, and flourishes. Ultimately, we pray that you will conclude as Paul did:

But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law. But that which is through faith in Christ - the righteousness that comes from God is by faith. I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead (Philippians 3:7-11).

One Session per Month Package
  • Recommended for those who have coached for more than three months, and have already experienced significant changes.
  • Included is one 45-minute phone session per month, unlimited e-mails
  • $90 per month, prepaid by check or credit card.
  • Payment made after you receive an invoice from us
Two Sessions per Month Package

  • Recommended for established clients or new clients with limited time and/or finances
  • Included are two 45-minute phone sessions per month (one every two weeks), unlimited e-mails, and brief, 5-10 minute calls
  • $170 per month, prepaid by check or credit card (discount of $10!)   
  • Payment made after you receive an invoice from us
Three Sessions per Month Package
  • Recommended for new clients
  • Included are three 45-minute phone sessions per month (one per week), unlimited e-mails, and brief, 5-10 minute calls
  • $240 per month, prepaid by check or credit card (discount of $30!)
  • Payment made after initial intake, and you receive an invoice from us
Four Sessions per Month Package

  • Recommended for those who are ready for intensive coaching
  • Included are four 45-minute phone sessions per month (one per week), unlimited e-mails, and brief, 5-10 min calls
  • $300 per month, prepaid by check or credit card  (discount of $60!)
  • Payment made after intial intake session, and you receive an invoice from us
Coaching is month to month.  You are asked to complete the number of sessions paid for in advance.  See Life Coaching section for details of our four coaching programs.


Pro Bono Services

We do provide pro bono coaching services for those who need life coaching, and cannot pay in full. After the free session, if we decide that coaching would be mutually beneficial, please share that you would like to negotiate coaching fees.  We are most concerned with your growth.


Contributions to Life Coaching
